Healthy but delicious

Apart from having practically no food value, sugar is a modern poison. If, like me, you’re sure this is the case but you love good food, these recipes are for you. They’re easy to make and with no added sugar. But they’re guaranteed to fill a gap!

Chocolate bites, with a touch of salt

Apart from being delicious, dates are packed with health benefits. They’re a perfect alternative for healthy recipes that provide a ton of energy.

Ingredients:

Dates

Peanut butter or hazelnut butter (with no added sugar) or almonds

Sugar-free chocolate

Preparation:

Stuff the dates with either peanut butter or hazelnut butter or just almonds

Put them in the freezer for at least 2 hours

Cover them with melted chocolate

Sprinkle with sea salt, and you’re done.

Banana and chocolate balls

These are perfect little treats to enjoy as a snack or as a dessert. There’s nothing like the combination of banana and chocolate!

Ingredients

3 small bananas

2 dessert spoons (soup spoons) of tahini, which is sesame paste

2 dessert spoons of cocoa powder

Sugar-free chocolate

Preparation

Mash the bananas, and mix in the other ingredients except the chocolate.

You want a firm but mouldable dough; add more banana if necessary.

Roll into small balls and apply melted chocolate topping.

Keep in the fridge.
