Located right in the heart of the town, the Relais & Châteaux Hotel Heritage occupies a magnificent building in classic 19th century style, and is justifiably proud of providing its guests with an exclusive experience. On arriving, I was immediately captivated by its charm. The interior is so elegant and seductive, the welcome so warm and the atmosphere so delightful that any stay there will meet the highest expectations. To be in this former manor house is to experience the soul of the old town, both in the decor and when dining.
On the ground floor of the hotel, the gourmet restaurant Le Mystique combines, in an authentic historical setting, Belgian and world flavours. Whether you are dining or taking breakfast at Le Mystique, this is an experience in itself. The cuisine is unforgettable, and the service is both discreet and extremely attentive. This undoubtedly places the restaurant in the ranks of the best establishments in Bruges.
However, that isn’t the only thing to set this hotel apart! Its 22 rooms and suites have been laid out with refinement and elegance, in a splendid combination of old world charm and modern comfort. The visitor sleeps like a prince(ss)! But only after a long contemplation of Bruges’ magnificent roofscape, seen from the sundeck on the fourth floor of the hotel.
The hotel’s guests are immersed in a world which offers, throughout the stay, an exquisite experience for the senses. Only 50 metres from the market square, this member of the Relais & Chateaux hotel group, which has also been voted the best luxury boutique hotel in Belgium, is in an ideal location for the visitor to enjoy an unforgettable stay in Bruges.
There are many good reasons for staying at this Brugeois jewel. The two words that best sum up my own memory of my getaway at the Relais & Châteaux Hotel Heritage are discretion and excellence.
